Southwestern Tunic

Most of my fashions are my unique designs. Typically, I do not use a pattern...however, once in a while for disciplinary reasons, I make myself use one! ;)
I found a simple Butterick pattern and a soft, heavy knit, southwestern patterned fabric. And, like my cooking, I never follow the recipe precisely!
In this version I decided to make the tunic a bit shorter and the collar detachable...in case it's too warm or to wear with something else.

Note: I used the double stretch stitch on the machine, which worked really well on the elastic knit fabric!

Having fun with Instagram!
